Hi Dear Family and Friends!! Our desire with this blog is to share with you our lives and "what's new" especially with the adoption coming up!! If you can save this blog to your favorites or sign in with an account this is where you will find the updates! If you are having trouble at anytime please just e-mail us at anytime and we'll try and help you, we want everyone to be involved and share in our excitement and joy with the progress of our new additions soon coming into the family.
I've been working on this blog the last couple days so that you can see some of our past months and how the kids are growing. Please check it out periodically to see if there are any new posts or updates!!
As of now we have met with our social worker from the adoption agency and she's really a great gal...Also she is coming out next week on Wednesday to inspect the house and insure it's safety for the children coming in...So we are working on getting the house prepared for this visit...Locking up all meds in a "lock box", putting all chemicles in locked cabinets, etc....So after this happens next week, our social worker has about two months to get our file (Home Study) ready to present to different county's as "suitable adoptive parents"...The county's then view our file and call our social worker if they see any children that fit our criteria. We are looking at about two months until "child search" begins...Soooo it's nearing time!!
The kids are putting in thier requests. Our daughter wants a little sister and our son would prefer two brothers. However, we keep reminding them it's all in God's hands and they are willing to accept whatever He wills. Love you all!!
