Ahhh...The Lord is always testing the faith of His children...We are in another "waiting" period. Our social worker called and said that all families who have gone through their agency have to have fingerprints re-done for another type of FBI background check. The state just made the agency aware of this which has actually been in effect since January 2008! Needless to say we both grew discouraged right away and at the same time fighting to remember that God is soveriegn and totally in control. So we could either get angry and frustrated which would make us miserable or we can choose to rest in God's plan and His will for us. We chose the latter :)...This means that we can still continue in our child search, but if the right children come along, we will not be able to have them placed until we recieve clearance from our fingerprint scans. Last time it took about 4-6 weeks to hear back. Sooooo...We will wait patiently for the Lord's perfect timing.

We will keep praying because seriously you guys are enduring crazy waiting periods!
God has chosen His little lambs for you and nothing will stand in the way of His timing and plan! So the children our Heavenly Father is going to entrust to you are not ready yet. And/or perhaps the lessons our loving Father is teaching you are not complete yet. :( Just be still (Psalm 46:10) and do not lose heart! :)
