I want to thank you for my children and the blessing they are. I know all too often I don't see them as the gifts they are. Today I ask you to help me see my children through your eyes. Give me your eyes so I can see. I want to see what my own sin, selfishness, and impatience has blinded me from seeing. Show me the areas in my own heart that need addressing so that I can love my children with a pure untainted love. I ask this in your name Jesus, Amen.
